Nissan Announces Australian Pricing For All-New X-Trail – Feb 24, 2014– Melbourne, Australia (Techreleased) – Nissan has confirmed Australian market pricing and grades for the upcoming launch of the All-New Nissan X-TRAIL, which will go on-sale during March 2014.
The All-New X-TRAIL has a stylish exterior design while also maintaining its reputation as a durable, capable and ‘family-proof’ SUV. Along with its stunning new presence, the X-TRAIL maintains its 4×4 capability for driving in all situations, where ever your family adventure takes you. “The introduction of the All-New Nissan X-TRAIL to the Australian market is one of our most hotly anticipated new product launches to date,” said Nissan Motor Company (Australia) Managing Director and CEO Peter Jones. “The X-TRAIL has been a mainstay in the Nissan product line-up for many years and has proven a favourite with the Australian public. So we are excited to be bringing the All-New X-TRAIL into Nissan dealerships from March.” “X-TRAIL is one of our strongest nameplates, with around 140,000 sold in Australia since its introduction in 2001, making the launch of the all-new model an important and exciting time for Nissan.” Exciting innovations such as the Divide ’N’ Hide™ Storage System (five-seat variants only), NissanConnect™ Smartphone Connectivity, wide opening rear doors and theatre view seating, as well as technologies such as Active Ride Control and Rear View Camera, are featured in all three grades. Around View® Monitor, satellite navigation, digital radio, leather-accented seats and dual-zone climate control are just some of the features included on the ST-L and Ti grades. Innovative features such as Sensor Activated Tailgate, Blind Spot Warning, Moving Object Detection and Lane Departure Warning are included in the Ti grade. Nissan X-TRAIL ST two-wheel drive option is available in two engines, a 2.0-litre producing 106kW of power and 200Nm of torque, paired with manual transmission or a 2.5-litre engine producing 126kW of power and 226Nm of torque paired with an Xtronic transmission. Nissan X-TRAIL ST is available in two-wheel-drive and four-wheel drive, with a seven-seat option available on two-wheel drive, 2.5L variants.
