Posted On July 9, 2015ELECOM Unveils Neck strap Bluetooth 4.1 headset – July 09, 2015– Osaka, Japan (Techreleased) – ELECOM is launching a new line of neck strap headsets that support Bluetooth® in the middle of July. The new model is a type you can wear around your neck, allowing you to listen to music wirelessly while providing an easy and comfortable fit.
The new Bluetooth® 4.1 headset with its neck strap lets you enjoy wireless music and hands-free telephone conversations anywhere, whether inside or outside the house. The new model is designed so that the receiver type earbuds are easy to wear and the box-less and tangle-free cables are easy to handle.
The new model has a neck strap, with a built-in battery box and remote control buttons, which connects to the compact earbuds via a short cable, allowing you to wear it around your neck for easy use. The compact earbud design was realized by installing the battery box and remote control buttons on the inner side of the strap, which also enables simple and stress-free handling of the cable. The ear caps come in three generic sizes, S/M/L, with an additional petite size, XS, so you can choose the best size to fit your ears. The neck strap is made with canvas fabric, designed to go perfectly with your casual outfit.
In addition to its excellent wearability and unique design, Elecom has given detailed attention to the headset’s sound quality and usability as well. The new model features a high-performance Φ9.0mm driver which has been given a special tuning, enabling it to produce powerful bass sound and well-balanced sound that you might not expect from a wireless device. The strap has the buttons necessary for turning the power ON/OFF, pairing, playing and pausing music, controlling volume, and going to the previous/next song. This product supports a music streaming function (A2DP) which allows you to listen to music or navigation voices played on connected mobile phones and smartphones. It also supports hands-free profiles “HSP” and “HFP”, enabling you to receive incoming calls while listening to music.
The product offers battery performance sufficient for everyday use, with a maximum of approximately eight hours of music playback time, a maximum of approximately nine hours of continuous conversation time and a maximum of approximately ninety hours of standby time.
Its compatibility with NFC allows connections just by a touch to an NFC-compatible smartphone.
If you are an Android smartphone user, you can download the ‘Easy BT’ application from Google Play for free to establish Bluetooth® connections. It also comes equipped with a micro USB connector for charging, and can be charged via connection to a PC, AC adapter, or similar using the included charging cable. The headset is available in popular white, pink, red, and blue for you to coordinate with your casual outfit.
