Posted On July 24, 2012July 24, 2012–Bangkok, Thailand (Techreleased) – Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is pleased to announce the official opening of its latest showroom in Bangkok, Thailand. The new facility was unveiled by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Asia Pacific Regional Director Mr Paul Harris; General Manager Emerging Markets Mr Herfried Hasenoehrl; HE Mr Asif Anwar Ahmad, British Ambassador to Thailand; Millionaire Auto Sales and Services (Thailand) Co. executives: Mr. Vivat Thamchuangviriya, Chairman; Dr. Sunhavut Thamchuanviriya, Managing Director; and Mr. Chatvithai Tantraporn, General Manager.
The Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Bangkok dealership is owned by Millionaire Auto Sales and Services (Thailand) Company Limited, a subsidiary of Master Group Corporation (Asia).
On the official opening of the showroom, the first in Thailand, Mr Paul Harris said: “We have seen significant interest in the Rolls-Royce brand since we announced our official presence in the Thai market. We are building on the success which we have enjoyed in the rest of the region and aim to affirm the brand as the epitome of super-luxurious motoring for Thailand’s highly discerning clientele.”
Mr Herfried Hasenoehrl added: “With this new, unique showroom, we will be able to deliver the exceptional purchasing and aftersales experience that is expected of Rolls-Royce by our Thai customers. It is said that one does not buy a Rolls-Royce, but commissions it – like a painting or work of art. Our hand-built cars are often ordered with a degree of personalisation or with unique specifications. The generous, double-storey floorspace will allow us to showcase our expanding range of cars. ”
Mr Chatvithai Tantraporn said: “Our investment in the new showroom demonstrates our commitment to the brand and signals our readiness to ensure that Rolls-Royce customers have nothing less than a highly positive ownership experience. Our authorised workshop, which is fully supported by the Rolls-Royce manufacturing Plant, is also equipped with the latest technology to service Rolls-Royce cars.”
The new showroom breaks new ground in the Asia Pacific region by being the first facility to have two storeys and secure underground parking for customers. One of the largest in the region, it also incorporates a special delivery room for customers. A total of seven Rolls-Royce cars can be displayed over the two floors, with a lounge which allows customers to configure their car using colour, wood and leather samples from the manufacturing plant at Goodwood, West Sussex, England.
Strategically positioned within easy access of Bangkok’s main thoroughfares, the new showroom houses a service facility with Rolls-Royce diagnosis equipment and an air conditioning service. Rolls-Royce trained technicians complete the comprehensive Aftersales service for Thai customers.
The number of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars showrooms in the Asia Pacific region (including China) is currently 27.
