Posted On April 3, 2012April 3,2012 – Dallas, USA (Techreleased) – Embraer will present its new AHEAD-PRO at MRO Americas 2012, April 3 to 5, in Dallas, Texas. This is an evolution of the system developed by Embraer to continuously monitor the status of the E-Jets aircraft, in real time. The Company has booth 919, where it will demonstrate products and support services for commercial aviation operations.
“It is our priority to serve our customers better and to support their operations. For that reason, we constantly invest in developing and improving support and broad-based solutions. AHEAD-PRO is one proof of that,” said Luiz Hamilton Lima, Embraer Vice President, Services and Support – Commercial Aviation. “Listening to our customers, and always focusing on supporting their operations and business, while collaborating to increase their earnings, is what drives us at Embraer.”
The new AHEAD-PRO is available for the EMBRAER 170/190 family of E-Jets, and is an evolution of the AHEAD (Aircraft Health Analysis and Diagnosis) system, which was first implemented in 2005, after being developed by Embraer to monitor the status of its aircraft while they are in operation.
AHEAD-PRO is a web-based platform developed to maximize aircraft flight time and to avoid unnecessary operating costs and delays, working with both preventive and corrective maintenance.
The E-Jets fleet of the EMBRAER 170/190 family now has more than 1050 firm orders, and over 800 aircraft are operating with 60 customers in 42 countries on five continents.
