Alcatel Onetouch announces EVO8HD, new 8 inch modular tablet – Sep 05, 2013– Berlin, Germany (Techreleased) –ALCATEL ONE TOUCH first launched its EVO line of modular tablets in 2013, with the EVO⁷ , which opened a new chapter in the modular tablets category with its 3G removable module, followed shortly by the ONE TOUCH EVO^7HD, the HD version with a 4G LTE^TM module. Now, less than 1 year later, ALCATEL ONE TOUCH continues to evolve the EVO tablet family of modular products, meeting the consumer demand for more powerful and larger sized screens, with the launch of the new ONE TOUCH EVO^8HD.

ONE TOUCH EVO^8HD is a 8 inch WiFi tablet that can be easily upgraded to 3G (HSPA+ 21 Mbps) or 4G LTE^TM (100 Mbps) thanks to removable 3G/4G LTE^TM module (sold in bundle or in stand-alone, based on regional availability). This allows the end user to upgrade their tablet and choose the connectivity mode as either 3G/4G LTE^TM or WiFi as their needs change.

The ONE TOUCH EVO^8HD is also available with a series of custom designed accessories. Using magnetic technology and external PIN connections, a complete set of intelligent accessories has been studied to accompany ONE TOUCH EVO^8HD: all these bring together the latest innovation and the ease of use the new ONE TOUCH EVO^8HD.

Thanks to its compact design (9 mm thick and only 420 grams), Dual Core 1.6 GHz CPU and Quad Core GPU, it is possible to enjoy an easier and faster multimedia experience.

Magnetic Flip is available in 3 different colors: red, light blue and purple, so anyone can colorize and protect their tablet with this colorful and super-slim flip cover.

The Magic Flip cover not only protects but enhances the tablet experience with an integrated LED system that will alert the user on incoming messages thanks to the LED integrated pattern. Additionally, innovative PINS connection allow the Magic Flip cover to snaps into place so that you can easily stay mobile.

The optional docking station expands the device’s usage by letting users easily use the tablet to study at home and charge your tablet while playing music or videos.
