With the addition of single-sided Metallic, double-sided Glossy paper, and a single-sided Luster paper, users of the DreamLabo 5000 printer can continue to produce superb quality in photo albums, photo books, catalogs, calendars and greeting cards, now with a wide variety of papers among which to choose.

With the addition of these three papers, there are now seven different papers available for the DreamLabo 5000. The Canon DreamLabo 5000 Production Inkjet Printer introduced in 2011, offers the retail photo printing and high-end print-on-demand (POD) markets optimal performance and productivity. Its integration of FINE (Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) print-head technology is designed to offer exceptional photo and text quality.
