Nov 13, 2012– Round Rock, USA (Techreleased) – Dell today announced an updated portfolio of new laser printers designed to help businesses maximize workforce productivity and office efficiency. The three new multifunction printers and five single function printers will allow customers to manage print reliably, digitize content for sharing and integrate document processes for an efficient work environment.
Wireless setup has never been easier with Dell Printer Easy WiFi Installer. Customers can enjoy a fast and easy printer set up with up to 4 x less number of clicks[1] with the new Dell Printer Easy WiFi installer available on the new entry class WiFi color printers.
Multifunction Printers
The new multifunction printers, the C1765nf/nfw, B3465dnf and B5465dnf, are designed to help businesses capitalize on digital document management and productivity solutions and integrate with existing document processes to create an efficient and collaborative work environment. Home offices and small business owners can benefit from affordable color printers with robust connectivity options and efficient document management. Medium businesses and large enterprise workgroups can capitalize on performance, built-in security and management tools, high monthly duty cycles and easy-to-use in-device solution applications for office productivity.
The new multifunction printer offerings demonstrate Dell’s commitment to delivering a customer centric portfolio of imaging solutions, software and services. In a report on shared networked multifunction peripherals for the distributed office in US, Keith Kmetz, vice president of IDC’s Imaging, Printing and Document Solutions research practice, offers his perspective, “Dell is in a solid position to capitalize on the MFP and printer market’s transformation, because it offers a full range of IT products, solutions and services inside and outside of the printing and imaging market.”
“Dell recognizes the vital role of multifunction printers in today’s evolving workplace, enabling businesses to do more beyond printing with the creation of digital data from scanning hardcopy documents to support digital document ecosystems and workflows,” said Lee Hui Li, general manager, Global Imaging, and executive director, Dell Software & Peripherals. “At Dell, we view printers as tools not only for printing, but as part of a broader end point device ecosystem that supports the creation, consumption and integration of digital data and information with electronic workflows and application systems that support an evolving and collaborative workforce.”
Single function Printers
Dell also unveiled five single function printers, including the C1660w, C1760nw, B2360d/dn, B3460dn and B5460dn. The C1660w and C1760nw refine Dell’s entry class color printers to provide improved ease of use and value for small and home offices and remote workers. These WiFi ready color printers come with fast print speeds and low maintenance. The B2360d/dn, B3460dn and B5460dn monochrome printers are built to last, offering blazing fast performance, robust paper handling, gigabit network connectivity and expandable options to suit business needs.
