Posted On February 27, 2013Feb 27, 2013–Ljubljana, Slovenia (Techreleased) – EK Water Blocks, Ljubljana based premium water cooling gear manufacturer, is proud to introduce EK-FC7970 Matrix, a Full cover water block engineered specifically for award winning ASUS Radeon HD 7970 Matrix series graphics cards.
This water block directly cools the GPU, RAM as well as VRM (voltage regulation module) as water flows directly over these critical areas thus allowing the graphics card and it’s VRM to remain stable under high overclocks. EK-FC7970 Matrix water block also features a very high flow design therefore it can be easily used in liquid cooling systems using weaker water pumps.
Base is made of nickel plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of quality POM Acetal material. The sealing is ensured by quality rubber washers. Screw-in brass standoffs are pre-installed and allow for safe, painless installation procedure.
EKWB also encloses two-slot I/O bracket which replaces the original three-slot, in order to make installation of mutliple graphics cards easier. Up to four EK-FC7970 Matrix water blocks can be used on a single ATX form factor motherboard by using EK-FC Terminal (DUAL, TRIPLE or QUAD type) system or other means of interconnectivity.
EK-FC7970 Matrix comes with the MSRP of 109.95€ (incl. VAT) and will be available for purchase through EK Webshop and Partner Reseller Network on Friday, March 8th 2013. Pre-orders are already possible.
