ELECOM Announces new line of Bluetooth overhead headsets –May 15, 2015– Osaka, Japan (Techreleased) – ELECOM is launching, in the middle of May, a new line of Bluetooth overhead headsets that have an incredibly comfortable fit and reproduce supreme sound quality. Users can enjoy music or talk on the phone at home through a wireless connection.

The new Bluetooth® headset allows you to wirelessly enjoy music and phone conversations whether you are at home or outside. Music can be streamed from a Bluetooth® smartphone, music player, PC or other such devices. Since there is no cable binding you to one spot, you can freely move about at home without losing the connection. And even while you are outside moving around, there is no need to grab a cable out of your pocket or bag, or wherever else you may keep your music player, in order to listen to music. The headset is designed to fit the curvature of an outer ear and this contributes to a very comfortable fit geared for long periods of use.

The headset is not only designed for a comfortable fit, but also for supreme sound reproduced by the large 40 mm diameter high efficiency driver and aptX®. Since it supports the high sound quality codec AAC, if you are connected with AAC compatible devices, such as iPhone and iPad, you can enjoy high quality sounds wirelessly. It also offers stable transmissions with a maximum communication range of 10 m radius, which is perfect for enjoying music within a room. The maximum continuous playing time for one complete charge is 25 hours. ^*1

The new model offers Bluetooth® wireless connection, as well as wired connection to a device not supporting Bluetooth®, such as a portable music player. You can choose the method of connection, wired or wireless, depending on which device you use.
The headset can be folded into a compact shape, making it easy to carry around. It’s compatibility with NFC allows the establishment of connections just by a touch to an NFC-compatible smartphone.^*2
The headband has various buttons for operations including turning power on/off and pairing and also playing/stopping music, controlling volume and going to next/previous song when connected to a device supporting AVRCP. This product supports a music streaming function (A2DP) which allows you to listen to music or navigation voices played on connected mobile phones and smartphones. It also supports hands-free profiles “HSP” and “HFP”, enabling you to receive incoming calls while listening to music. Equipped with a micro USB connector that is ready to connect to a PC or USB AC adapter, it can be power-charged using the USB cable included in the product.

This product is available in Japanese packaging with manuals in English, Korean, simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese and Indonesian.
