Kia America has announced the pricing for the refreshed 2024 Seltos, which comes with a range of updates and improvements over its predecessor. The entry-level SUV starts at an MSRP of $24,390, excluding the $1,325 destination fee, and is ready for both on and off-road adventures.
With the refreshed Seltos, Kia has aimed to provide drivers with a more comfortable and engaging driving experience. The exterior design has been refined, giving the vehicle a more commanding presence on the road. The tiger nose grille has been enlarged, and the lighting has been updated with available projection LED headlamps and a unique rear lighting design.
Inside the cabin, the centerpiece is an available panoramic display that seamlessly integrates the 10.25-inch instrument cluster and 10.25-inch center display. The available Digital Key 2 Touch allows users to use their compatible smart devices as a virtual key to lock, unlock, and drive, which is available on the SX Sunroof Package.
One of the significant updates to the 2024 Seltos is the increased turbocharged power on certain trims. Owners can now opt for a more powerful 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces an extra 20 horsepower for a total of 195 horsepower. Complementing the available turbocharged engine is an 8-speed automatic transmission, which replaces the outgoing 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Base models will continue to use the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with the Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT).
The Seltos is available in all-wheel drive configurations and adds more personality with the new X-Line trim. This upgrade includes an exclusive front grille design, unique 18-inch wheels, rugged door garnish, and X-Line badging. For owners who need extra cargo capacity for their outdoor gear, the X-Line also includes a bridge-type roof rack.
Kia has also included a range of advanced driver assistance features in the 2024 Seltos. All trims come with a rear camera display, rear occupant alert, forward collision avoidance assist with car, pedestrian, and cyclist detection, driver attention warning, lane keeping assist system, lane departure warning system, lane following assist, and high beam assist. The S, EX, X-Line, and SX trims come with blind spot collision warning and rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist. The S, EX, X-Line, and SX trims also have safe exit assist, while the SX trim comes with forward collision avoidance assist with junction turning and smart cruise control with stop and go, plus navigation-based smart cruise control curve.
In terms of dimensions, the 2024 Seltos has an overall length of 172.6 inches, an overall width of 70.9 inches, and an overall height of 63.4 inches (without roof rails) or 64.0 inches (with roof rails). The wheelbase is 103.5 inches.
