Panasonic Showcases Lumix Gh5s And G9 At Gulf Photo Plus Exhibit 2018 – Feb 12, 2018 – Osaka Prefecture, Japan (Techreleased) –Panasonic is putting the spotlight on their pioneering LUMIX cameras – GH5S and G9 – in this year’s Gulf Photo Plus exhibition happening on February 7 – 12 at Alserkal Avenue, Dubai.

Panasonic’s LUMIX cameras, specifically designed to capture pristine images and high-quality videos, provide an excellent compromise between image quality, features, and price.

The new Digital Single Lens Mirrorless Camera LUMIX GH5S boasts expanded video recording capability and enhanced image quality in low light. Designed and developed for professional filmmakers, the GH5S achieves the highest-ever sensitivity and image quality in the history of LUMIX cameras.  This is realized by combing the new 10.2-megapixel Digital Live MOS Sensor with Dual Native ISO Technology and the latest Venus Engine.   This high-sensitivity sensor is a multi-aspect type with a sufficient margin for realizing the same angle of view at the same focal length in 4:3, 17:9, 16:9 and 3:2 aspect ratios. The sensor also supports photo shooting in 14-bit RAW format, providing higher flexibility.

Bringing further innovation to creative workflows, the LUMIX GH5S also boasts a milestone by achieving the world’s first 4K 60p / 50p video recording in Cinema 4K (4096×2160). It is capable of internal 4:2:2 10-bit video recording, which is a color subsampling commonly used in filmmaking, for faithful color reproduction. The LUMIX GH5S also records 4:2:2 10-bit 400-Mbps All-Intra in Cinema 4K 24p and 4K 30p/25p/24p and 200-Mbps All-Intra in Full-HD. There is no time limit for both Full-HD and 4K video recording.

The LUMIX G9, on the other hand, offers outstanding mobility, with ultra-high-speed response.  Thanks to its 20.3-megapixel Digital Live MOS Sensor without low-pass filter, the camera achieves the highest-ever image quality in photo shooting by elevating resolution, gradation, and color reproduction. A High-Resolution mode is also added that provides 80-megapixel equivalent images in JPEG /RAW formats in the camera.  Moreover, the Body I.S. (Image Stabilizer) in the LUMIX G9 is dramatically improved, making it possible to use a 6.5-stop slower shutter speed.

This is achieved by a more accurate calculation of shake in various shooting conditions, utilizing information of angular velocity and motion vector acquired not only from the gyro sensor, but also from the image sensor and accelerometer sensor.
