Penclic Unveils new Bluetooth Numpad to deliver a modern twist on the wireless workspace – Dec 22, 2014– Stockholm, Sweden (Techreleased) – Penclic, the award-winning Swedish company known for creating ergonomically functional and sleekly designed computer accessories, announces the ultimate wireless work station for the home, office and the road. With the launch of the Bluetooth numpad, the Penclic team has added to their growing portfolio of ergonomic, yet beautifully designed computer accessories to deliver a modern twist on the wireless workspace.

Penclic’s journey began in 2011 with the launch of their pen-shaped mouse that brought innovation to a category that hadn’t seen a true design change since the world was introduced to the PC mouse more than 30 years ago. Since then they have introduced a wide range of ergonomic computer accessories that incorporate sleek Scandinavian design, including the next-generation Bluetooth Mouse B3 and their Wireless Mini Keyboard K2. With the newly introduced numpad, they have completed the wireless set up, just in time for New Year’s resolutions to get heathy at home and at work. Fitness may start at the gym, but work wellness begins at the office, where the average worker spends more than six hours in front of a computer screen.

Working together, the compact size of the keyboard and numpad centralize your position, while the design of the mouse allows you to utilize your fine motor skills intended for mouse operation, resulting in a healthy lifestyle, increased productivity and reduced chances of Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI). The size and feel of the products keep your desktop clutter-free, helping you stay organized during your work day.

Stina Wahlqvist, Penclic CEO and one of the youngest female CEOs in the tech industry, knew that she had a daunting task when she had a dream of helping people by producing ergonomic computer accessories, while still making them aesthetically pleasing.

“We started creating a new standard, Design and Ergonomics, to fit into the consumer market. It goes without saying you know you are in for a big challenge. Traditionally, ergonomic products are not praised for their “beautiful” design-just for the purpose they serve. We wanted to change that,” says Wahlqvist. “We saw huge potential to help people and still provide fantastic looking products that are functional. We wanted to find that balance. To me this vision is clear.”

The Penclic wireless workstation has found that balance with a nod to sleek, Scandinavian style, while still packing tons of function, health benefits and practicality into the design. With growing trends of health in the workplace and employees working remotely, Penclic strives to provide a space where people will feel comfortable and enjoy working, whether it’s in an office, at home or on the go.

Penclic’s wireless workspace will be on display at the 2015 CES in Las Vegas, January 6-9, in South Hall, Booth #32012.
