Production Of The 2014 SRT Viper Time Attack Has Begun

Production of the 2014 SRT Viper Time Attack has begun – Sep 03, 2013– California, USA (Techreleased) – The numbers 93 and 33 hold a great significance when it comes to the SRT Viper Time Attack (TA).That’s because the special edition of the fifth-generation iconic supercar set a production car track record of one-minute, 33-seconds (93-seconds) earlier this year at Laguna Seca Raceway in California.

To commemorate that record-setting run, a total of 93 SRT Time Attack Vipers will be produced for 2014 in TA Orange. Also, 33 will roll off the line in Viper White, and that same number will be produced in Venom Black. Production of the SRT Viper TA has started with orders being taken at SRT High Performance Dealers.

The SRT Viper TA is a spec package that offers the ultimate track-day settings and equipment in a street car. Enhancements to aero as well as tires and suspension are all part of the Time Attack package.

The SRT Viper TA is outfitted with lightweight matte-black Sidewinder II wheels, with ultra-grippy Pirelli^® P Zero Corsa tires ready to hit the track. User-selectable Street and Race Mode Bilstein^® suspension settings offer firmer damping. Spring rates on the TA provide more capable handling with firmer rates. Advanced two-piece rotors from Brembo^® with increased thermal capacity, provide additional resistance to brake fade.

Inside, TA stitching accents lightweight SRT Viper seats covered in ballistic fabric. Driver and passenger seats can accommodate five- and six-point racing belts. SRT Performance Pages found on the SRT Viper are also found within the Viper TA for added data acquisition.
