Satin Vapor Editions add unique style and features to three SRT vehicles – Feb 06, 2014– Detroit, USA (Techreleased) – Since its debut on a concept 300 SRT at Spring Fest last March, the Satin Vapor style has been highly requested from SRT fans and owners. The wait is over: the stand-out finish is now available as part of the new Satin Vapor Edition offered for the Charger, Challenger and 300 SRT, all three of which were unveiled today at the Chicago Auto Show.

Satin Vapor Edition

“Satin Vapor is an SRT-exclusive finish within the company and it always shows well,” said Mark Trostle, Head of SRT Design. “We utilized Satin Vapor on a 300 SRT at Spring Fest last year and it looked fantastic. We considered what we could do to use the Satin Chrome in a package, and really wanted to make something special out of it.”

Starting with Core models of the Charger, Challenger and 300 SRT, Satin Vapor Editions offer a fresh look with a number of visual differentiators. Each model presents a slightly different take on the implementation of new styling cues, giving each its own unique flavor.

Challenger SRT Satin Vapor Edition

The Satin Vapor Edition of the Challenger SRT^® features five-spoke Black Satin Vapor wheels, Satin Black mirrors, Satin Black fuel door and leather seats. Also included in the package is Red Brembo^® calipers and a grey 392 HEMI^® badge. Exterior colors for the Challenger SRT Satin Vapor Edition include: Bright White, Header Orange, Graphite and TorRed. The interior features charcoal seats trimmed in Nappa leather with Ultra-suede inserts and mini-carbon bezel instrument panel.

Charger SRT Satin Vapor Edition

Specific to the Charger SRT  Satin Vapor Edition are Black Satin hood and roof treatments, Satin Black mirrors, five-spoke Black Satin Vapor wheels, black leather seats and stitched Super Bee logo. The Charger SRT features red Brembo calipers and a grey 392 HEMI^® badge. The Charger SRT Satin Vapor Edition is available with exterior colors: Bright White, Billet Silver, Graphite and TorRed. On the interior, the Charger SRT Satin Vapor Edition features premium black seats trimmed in Nappa leather with Ultra-suede inserts and includes the Uconnect Media Center with the 8.4-inch touchscreen LCD display.

300 SRT Satin Vapor Edition

The 300 SRT^® Satin Vapor Edition is outfitted with a Satin Black roof wrap and optional body side stripe. The 300 SRT rolls on five-spoke Black Satin Vapor wheels and is outfitted with a grey 6.4L HEMI^® fender badge and Satin finish spoiler. Additional equipment includes: red Brembo® calipers (the Satin Vapor Edition is the only way to get red calipers on the 300 SRT), Satin Black mirrors, Black chrome grill, Black lower valance stripe and Black DLO and belt trim. Black tail lamp housings and an optional black body side stripe all dramatically contrast with each shade in the 2014 300 SRT palette, including Bright White, Billet Sliver and Granite Crystal. The interior of the 300 SRT Satin Vapor Edition features black seats trimmed in Nappa leather with Ultra-suede inserts, various matte carbon and piano black accents surrounding the instrument panel, door bezels and center console.

“The Challenger, Charger and 300 are a family and each car has its own personality, but we wanted to tie them all together,” said Trostle. “We had never created a package with a similar theme for all three cars at the same time. We are really connecting the family together with these finishes.”
