Superior Neuro Imaging With Toshiba’s Titan 3T MR – May 22, 2013– San Diego, USA  (Techreleased) – Advanced MR imaging is required for accuracy when studying activity in the brain. Highlighting innovative neuro MR technologies, Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. will showcase the Vantage Titan^TM 3T MR system at this year’s American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR) annual meeting, May 18 – 25, 2013, in San Diego (Booth #201).

The Titan 3T features technology for advanced neurological studies:

• Time-Spatial Labeling Inversion Pulse (Time-SLIP), Toshiba’s proprietary non-contrast technique, helps visualize CSF bulk flow non-invasively.
• Diffusion tensor imaging enables the visualization of diffusion and anistrophy, providing a clear image of white matter and diffusion.
• Diffusion tensor tractography is a unique tool for aiding in the evaluation of brain structures and the visualization of axonal fiber architectures.

Meng Law, M.D., MBBS, FRACR; professor, Radiology; director, Neuroradiology and Neuroradiology Fellowship Program, Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, will discuss clinical applications of advanced neuro 3T MR imaging during a presentation titled “Advances in High-Field Neurological Imaging.” The educational how-to session will take place at noon on Wednesday, May 22, 2013.
