Posted On August 22, 2013TabletKiosk Announces End of Life for Sahara Slate PC i520 / i550 and Sahara NetSlate a510 Tablet PCs – Aug 22, 2013– Torrance, USA (Techreleased) – TabletKiosk®, a leading provider of slate-style Tablet PCs and customized mobility solutions for the enterprise, today announced the end of sale (EOS) end of life (EOL) of the first generation of its 500 line of 12.1-inch Tablet PCs. On September 30, 2013, TabletKiosk will discontinue order availability for the following systems:
As of October 1, 2013, there will be no further orders accepted for the above listed Tablet PCs, unless otherwise specified under separate customer agreement. As of today, all inventory is currently depleted or reserved for previously submitted orders. Until September 30, 2013, lead time for final orders on any of these models is 14 – 16 weeks. Software updates, technical support and hardware repairs will continue without interruption until September 30, 2016.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to one of TabletKiosk’s newer generation of 12.1-inch Tablet PCs including the Sahara Slate PC i535 and i575 Tablet PCs, 2nd generation Sahara Slate PC TS500 (OEM and private label only), or Sahara NetSlate a525 and 2nd generation Sahara NetSlate TNS500 (OEM and private label only). All of these newer Tablet PCs provide increased performance and longer battery life. Additionally, they all run Windows® 7 Professional, which features enhanced touch and digital inking support.
