GWS 18-125 V-LI Professional from Bosch
Jan 17, 2013– Stuttgart, Germany (Techreleased) – With the GWS 18-125 V-LI Professional, Bosch offers a further cordless angle grinder for professionals. The tool is powered by a 4.0 Ah lithium-ion battery and achieves the highest material removal and cutting power per battery charge. The angle grinder is therefore the most powerful tool in the 18 volt class. With its 125 millimeter disc, it performs tasks such as cutting tubing to length, working steel and aluminum sections, as well as cutting tiles quickly and reliably. The maximum cutting depth is 35 millimeters.
Cordless tool offers excellent freedom of movement
The cordless tool is very compact and can be used anywhere, even in places with limited freedom of movement, such as on ladders and scaffolds. Another advantage is the low weight of only 2.3 kilograms, which is ideal for overhead work and ensures fatigue-free working at all times.
The GWS 18-125 V-LI Professional is driven by a four-pole high-performance motor which has a high thermal load capacity and therefore offers long service life. In addition, the “Electronic Motor Protection” (EMP) system protects the motor against overload and switches it off automatically should the disc lock up. Other features are a non-rotating protective hood which protects professionals in the event of disc breakage, a 90-degree rotatable gear head and a spindle lock for easy and fast accessory changing. Suitable accessories such as cutting discs, flap grinding discs, diamond grinding discs and roughing discs are available from the Bosch range.
The lithium-ion battery used has a run time of 4.0 Ah and is equipped with the “Electronic Cell Protection” (ECP) system and CoolPack technology. It reliably protects against overload, overheating and exhaustive discharge. In addition, the battery has no memory effect and delivers high power even at subzero temperatures. The built-in charge indicator shows how much power is still available at all times.
