Aug 02, 2012–St. George,USA (Techreleased) –Verizon Wireless customers in St. George, Utah can now experience the speed and capabilities offered by its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network.

With 4G LTE, customers in St. George will now be able to enjoy the best experience in wireless data usage when they stream video, share music and photos, download files and surf the Web with speeds up to 10 times faster than before.  Verizon Wireless currently covers more than 230 million people in 337 markets across the United States with the nation’s largest 4G LTE network.

The Verizon Wireless 4G LTE coverage area extends through the city of St. George and along Interstate 15 northeast to Washington, northwest along Highway 91 to Santa Clara, south to Bloomington and the new St. George Municipal Airport.

Last month, the company launched its 4G LTE network in Cedar City and Logan and expanded coverage in Provo and Salt Lake City.

In real-world, fully loaded network environments, Verizon Wireless 4G LTE customers should experience average data rates of 5 to 12 megabits per second (Mbps) on the downlink and 2 to 5 Mbps on the uplink.
