ZTE Releases ZXONE 9700, Industry Largest Crossed Capacity 100G OTN – Sep 18, 2013– Shenzhen, China (Techreleased) – ZTE Corporation, a publicly-listed global provider of telecommunications equipment, network solutions and mobile devices, today released the ZXONE 9700, an integrated packet 100G OTN product with the largest crossconnection capacity in the industry.

The product has single subrack crossconnection capacity of 14.4T, higher than all current commercial products of the same type in the industry, which is also upgradable to 400G and cluster, and is capable of packet crossconnection.  ZXONE 9700 has the most number of traffic access slots compared to any other OTN products in the industry and is capable to accomplish ODU0/1/2/2e/3/3e2/4/flex multi-granularity electrical crossconnection without any block. It can also implement integrated access, crossconnection, and transport of various traffics. The rigid channel processing of ZXONE 9700 is flexible, which improves bandwidth utilization and alleviates IP bandwidth.

According to OVUM’s 2013 Q2 global optical network market report, ZTE’s optical network products rank No.1 in the world in market share growth compared with the previous quarter. In the segmented OTN field, ZTE market share is No.2 in the world, according to the report.
